Summer Plans

Hello everybody, today I’m going to tell you about my plans for this summer. With three friends we are making plans to go in February or March to the “Volcán Tronador” located near the eastern shore of lake “Todos Los Santos”, in the border with Argentina. It is a tremendous massif and a very beautiful place covered by seven glaciers, in fact the origin of the name is probably because of the frequent serac that falls on the glaciers and the sound that they make is similar to thunders. I know it will be a great expedition, we’ll need a week approximately to get to the summit and comeback to Peulla where the adventure starts. To climb this volcano you need to know how to move on glacial terrain and be in good physical condition to spend a week climbing a hill with a lot of weight. I’ve been working since September in “McDonald’s” to get the money to go there and buy equipment necessary. After go there, we’ll go to Cochamó located in the province of “Llanquihue”, to continue climbing and of course rest a little after our great expedition, maybe swim or just take naps all the day. I’m really very excited for this trip and I’m training a lot for it, so I hope everything work well, and there wouldn’t be problems because of Covid. Thanks for reading me!
